About Animal Housecalls of Maine
Deborah D. Discher, DVM
Dr. Discher graduated in 1996 from the University of
Minnesota School of Veterinary Medicine.  She has
worked as a small animal clinician for 10 years,
including 1 year in Binghamton, NY, at Allen Veterinary
Hospital, 3 years at North Shore Animal Hospital in Lynn,
MA, and worked at the Emergency Veterinary Clinic
in Portsmouth, NH, from 1999-2006.  She is married to
Jon, has a spry, 14 year-old dog named Abbey,
a 1 year-old crazy yellow lab named Nolan and a
3 year-old cat named Toula.  Toula was "rescued" from
the Emergency Veterinary Clinic 2 years ago, and has settled in nicely!

Ann Arsenault
Ann graduated in 1985 from Essex Agricultural and
Technical Institute, and worked for 15 years as a
veterinary technician at North Shore Animal Hospital in
Lynn, MA.  She currently lives in Cape Neddick with her
three sons (Tommy, Matt and Peter), and husband,
Stephen.  Ann also has two kittens, Owen and
Obi-Wan Kenobi. Owen was rescued by one of
our clients in July 2006, and Ann just couldn't
resist him. Similarly, Ann adopted Obi in October 2006
from a client looking for homes for a litter of kittens.
